As any importer can tell you, the lockdowns due to Covid-19 caused serious supply chain disruptions in many countries around the world.
At the same time. we see manufacturing and trade show resilience, creativity and true survivor mentality. We also see heartwarming initiatives to support healthcare with affordable protective products. However, there is a dark side as well: the mentality around the facemask craze, the confusion and the disappointments. Numerous companies and individuals have been cheating and still trying to cheat their trade partners, authorities and customers. All for money. As a result, authorities have become increasingly alert on non-compliant products. The market has realised there is a trade in fake certificates and testing reports.
Testing and inspection companies suffered reputational damage due to the decreasing transparency and trust in the supply chain.
Companies became aware that buying is specifically also about knowing what you buy and whether you buy from a certified, reliable manufacturer.

And where has trust gone? How can we regain trust in the supply chain after Covid-19?

These are some of the questions that Maarten van der Dussen will answer during the free webinar.
