Celebrate the start of the Year of the Tiger.
Special Guest Speakers: Olympic Speed Skating Champion Mr Jochem Uytdehaage and Mr Bas Pulles, Member of the Board of Directors of Netherlands Enterprise Agency; previously Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Netherlands in China.
Honorary Guests: H.E. Mr Tan Jian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Netherlands and Mr Peter Potman, Director Economic Advice and Policy Development as well as Deputy Director General Foreign Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

17:00 hrs Opening and speech by Mr Jochum Haakma, Chairman of the NCBC.
17:10 hrs Speech by Mr Jochem Uytdehaage, Former speed skating champion. Mr Uytdehaage won two gold medals at the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City in 2002, breaking the world records for both distances. In addition, he won a silver medal at the 1500 meters event.
17:35 hrs Speech by Mr Bas Pulles, Member of the Board of Directors of Netherlands Enterprise Agency; previously Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Netherlands in China. Mr Pulles will elaborate on his 4 years in China.
17:50 hrs Toast to celebrate the start of the Year of the Tiger with H.E. Mr Tan Jian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Netherlands, Mr Peter Potman, Acting Director General Foreign Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Mr Bas Pulles and Mr Jochum Haakma.
