The EU-China Business Association is organising a webinar focusing on the importance of co-operation between the EU and China in the field of research and science and how this can support economic recovery. The webinar will take place online on 14 October from 10.00 am till 11.15 am CET
 
A series of experts from industry and official institutions will share their views and experiences on EU-China R&D Cooperation.
 
There has been extensive co-operation between Chinese and EU researchers in recent years. The EU Horizon Europe research, innovation and science that will run between the period 2021-2027 offers great opportunities for EU and Chinese scientists to work together to help combat key societal challenges.
The public, private, educational and research communities have to work more closely together to ensure that the UN Sustainable Development Goals are fully implemented. Technology is modernising how key vertical industries operate including in the areas of energy, transport, education, health and agriculture. This webinar is an opportunity to see how China and the EU can work more closely together in the research and science fields so as to further economic development and tackle key social problems.
